This is the twelfth script in The Three Craws Series written by Rita Bradd. With dialogue in Scots and narration in plain English, the plays have been broadcast on ECFM 107.6 radio. Rita and her cast of Three Craws travelled to Normandy, France in September 2013 to highlight the visit there of the Battle of Prestonpans Tapestry, which was being exhibited in the Bayeux Museum. They performed a play in three languages, Scots, English and French in the Museum Courtyard and on the streets of Bayeux. The Three Craws appeared in January this year in Dumfries in Rabbie Burns’ Howff in The Globe Inn, and in the Robert Burns House Museum. The plays are a fun way to find out about local and Scottish historical facts, places, characters, festivals, events and traditions.
The script for Coastword Festival is set in Dunbar and promises adventure, excitement and the characteristic flurry of feathers. Bring along your best ‘caw’ to help us sing along!
