Dunbar Sings has become a CoastWord tradition and highlight. A friendly community choir led by Karen Dietz, Dunbar Sings is open to all, young and old, new to singing or a veteran voice. Prepare to enjoy a wide variety of songs sung purely for the sheer joy of it!
Writing collective Writing Mums has been supporting mother and grandmothers who want to express themselves on page and on the stage since 2013, they’ve shared their work at every CoastWord Festival. Three years ago, they published an anthology of their work, Nourish Me, Sister – and you can nourish yourself at this event, not only with the bacon rolls and pastries included with the price of the ticket, but with words that will feed your mind.
